Following this weekend's Super Expo-sciences Hydro Québec provincials in Montréal, secondary 4 computer scientist Mateo Jarquin was selected as one of Québec's 10 representatives in the Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF). He won the bronze metal for his category and the "Jeune Innovateur" award from Super Expo-Sciences Hydro Québec, and will be presented his trophy at the ADRIC awards in November.

There's no stopping this up and coming innovator in his success, having moved on to provincials following his amazing work at the regional science expo a few weeks ago, where he won numerous awards.

The event, organised by Youth Science Canada brings together Canada's 700 best young scientists and innovators competing for prizes of a total of $900,000.

Best of luck to Mateo at the CWSF from May 14-19 in Edmonton, AB.
