Spooky Poem

A Halloween poem written by Pia Milly Marie Dziallas

Spooky Poem Halloween

It’s the time of the year,

When autumn leaves fall,

The cold wind causes shivers,

And the twisted trees stand tall.

At night little creatures go from house to house,

Cheeky phrases escape their mouths,

But one wanders all alone,

Followed by the unknown.

The shadow is not a friend,

Hiding in the forbidden land,

The child notices, begins running in fear,

But the shadow is already near.

One quick move and everything falls silent,

The dead of the night hiding the violent,

Never seen again hiding in the deep,

Whispered voices of the restless spirits weep.

If you dare enjoy the night,

Be aware of the lurking fright,

Behind the sweetness you enjoy in trance,

Watch out for the phantoms that dance.
