Alexander Galt Regional High School is hosting its own twin day on January 27th 2023, where students can dress up with their friends and pals at school. We plan twin days because it's a great opportunity to dress up with other students in the school to look alike. It's also a great occasion to connect and collaborate with other students.
Students will be encouraged to dress like twins. At noon hour, 12:20 to 1:10, there will be a fun activity for students to participate in. There will be a three legged obstacle course where students can come down and be joined with their twin and go through a super fun obstacle course. We encourage all students to participate in this activity to have a fun time. These theme days are put on by our Galt student council. Greatly appreciated!
Did you know that there was a National Twin day? Twin day originated in 1989 from two twins whose names are Mosos Wilcox and Aaron Wilcox (The Wilcox Twins). These twins donated land in Missville, which it’s name is now changed to Twinsburg in honor of the Wilcox twins. They donated approximately six acres of land. After this event, the town Twinsburg, started hosting its own annual Twins festival.
Some fun facts about twins are: Identical twins have their different fingerprints, some twins around the world will have a different dad, China has the lowest rate of twins, some twins have different birthdays. If you want to find more information about twins click the link below.
