Happy October y’all! It’s finally the best time of year (in my opinion). From the fact that Halloween is near or the fact that it's fall at last, there is so much to look forward to. Halloween is a little far away but that doesn’t mean you can’t get festive. What better way to get ready for spooky season than watching movies that match the current vibe around you?Here are some fantastic fall/Halloween movies to enjoy!


1. Coraline (2009)

Coraline finds a secret door in her new house which takes her to an improved version of her current world. She must escape before her alternate family keeps her there forever.


2. Edward Scissorhands (1990)

Edward was made by a scientist who died in the process of his creation, leaving him looking abnormal. After a sales women takes him in, he starts to fall in love with her teenage daughter and tries to live a normal life.

Roahld Dahl's iconic novel has been made into two movies which follow a little boy learning all about witches who ends up at the yearly conference for them.


5. The Addams Family (1991)

The Addams family is overjoyed when a guy claiming to be Fester, Gomez Addams's lost brother, shows up at their residence. Morticia starts to believe the man is a fraud because he seems unable to recall anything about Fester's life. Fester succeeds in having the Addams family removed from their home with the assistance of lawyer Tully Alford. The two men work together to steal the Addams' riches and must be stopped.


6. Ghostbusters (1984)

In the 1993 classic, a boy named Max and his sister Dani move to the town of Salem and end up exploring an abandoned house with Max's crush, Allison. She tells them an old legend about three witches, that Max didn’t believe, so, somehow he accidentally frees a coven of evil witches that used to live in the house. With nothing but a talking cat by their side, they must stop them from becoming immortal.
